The Geotrac Series 4 is a tractor with an outstandingly high level of comfort and convenience combined with state-of-the-art engineering. It also sets new standards in terms of safety. With its standard equipment, it is an ideal tractor for green area maintenance work – also for public service duties. With its creep speed option, Series 4 tractors become multi-purpose vehicles suitable for many applications, including agricultural work.

The powerful 4.4 l common-rail turbo-diesel engines with charge cooling generate 106, 116 or 126 HP. With the 126 HP engine, the state-of-the-art engine electronics tailor the engine output to suit the given need. In ECO mode, the power is reduced to 116 HP for carrying out the more straightforward duties, while the power boost function provides up to 134 HP in p.t.o. shaft mode.

The ZF-STEYR multiple power-shift transmission has 24 forward and 8 reverse gears. The power-shift reverse gearbox and the automatic group shift selection between off-road and on-road options offer optimum convenience. Up to 8 gears can be selected without the clutch having to be used. On request, a 36/12-gear transmission with creep gear and a directional p.t.o. shaft can be supplied. p.t.o. shaft (540, 750, 1000, 1400 rpm) which can be activated under load, whereby a start control ensures the equipment starts smoothly.

The 3-circuit hydraulic system has a capacity of up to 122 l/min. at a pressure of up to 185 bar. On request, the hydraulic system can be equipped with an axial piston pump and combined with a load-sensing system to offer optimum efficiency.

The all-wheel front-axle drive is available in two versions – one without suspension and the other with individual-wheel suspension. The lockable, hydraulic suspension provides for optimum stability and very smooth running.

A great deal of attention was devoted to the cab and cockpit ergonomics. The cab is designed to meet optimum safety requirements in line with the cabs used for construction machines. Generous windows supplemented by a front-loader free-vision windscreen offer optimum all-round visibility. The I.B.C. monitor integrated into the cockpit serves as a universal information system, via which key adjustments can be made without a laptop being needed.
