Unitrac 92/102
The Unitrac 92 / 102 is more than just a transporter.
Its wide range of equipment options makes it a multi-purpose work vehicle for local communities, farmers, builders, mountain railway operators, etc. - i.e. users with high productivity demands in difficult terrain.
The vehicle is based on the Unitrac chassis concept, 1,200 of which have already been sold. Individual-wheel suspension with hydraulic springs in conjunction with a pivot between the front and rear frames guarantees optimum comfort and ideal off-road manoeuvrability. The ride comfort is further enhanced by the generous, hydro anti-vibration cab. The entire cab can be tilted sideways by 50° without the need for tools, assuring optimum ease of maintenance.
The vehicle is available with two engine options. The 40 km model for public service use is equipped with a VM turbo-diesel engine generating 72 kW (98 HP) and 350 Nm torque. The engine meets the Euro 4 emissions standard applying to vehicles weighing 7.5 t and a max. speed of 40 km/h in Switzerland. Public works vehicles with a top speed of 30 km/h and farm vehicles can be equipped with a Perkins engine generating 74.5 kW and 420 Nm.
The permanent all-wheel drive, supported by power-shift locks on the rear axle and an intermediate differential (on the front axle if required), guarantees a safe ride even on steep and poorly accessible terrain.
The wide variety of available options makes this a robust yet, at the same time, agile work vehicle.
