"Friends among friends"
The traditional RAPID Export-Partners'-Convention was held from 27 - 29 January 2012. To underline the growing networking with our international partners, we staged this event just across the border with Austria. "Friends among friends": the wonderful setting of the Vorarlberg gave the event a very special touch!
Twenty-one international sales partners of our company took part, and despite their long journey to get to the venue they all answered the call from Rapid: Guests from America, Canada, Mexico and also from all countries in Europe were present; nobody wanted to miss the presentation of numerous new products and the opportunity to exchange ideas with Rapid colleagues.
To round off the event in style, 75 people participated in the medieval banquet at Hohenems Castle on the Saturday evening. A resounding success across the board! And a very special accolade went to the long-standing Rapid sales partner in Vorarlberg, the senior director of Mehele, a company which is now managed by the fourth generation of the same family and celebrated its 125-year anniversary last year. Reason enough to celebrate the current owners, Rainer & Stefan Mehele, as well as Arnold & Inge Mehele, on that evening.
