“Easy does it” is the guiding principle of Egholm Maskiner A/S based in the Danish town of Lemvig for, after all, the Egholm concept pursues one aim - making work easier for users of its equipment. And nothing does this better than the Egholm 2200, the Danish company’s latest innovation.
The Egholm 2200 is uncompromising. With its add-on sweeper and vacuum cleaner unit, it is the professional among sweeping machines. Once its mower unit starts work, untidy lawns and green areas are things of the past. And when its winter service equipment is attached, snow and ice haven’t got a chance. The Egholm 2200 is incredibly versatile. The small, compact equipment carrier with its wide range of add-on options is the perfect work aid for caretakers, landscape gardeners and municipal workers, for public utility firms, housing companies, industrial and service companies and many more besides. It is quite simply indispensable for anybody involved in the maintenance of outdoor areas.
Egholm has already built up a reputation for this. The new machine is not intended to replace its predecessor, the Egholm 2100, to the joy of in excess of 3,000 satisfied users throughout Europe. Instead, both models will in future be sold parallel to one another - each with its own technological specifics and range of special add-on equipment options.

Together with its add-on sweeper and vacuum cleaner unit, the Egholm 2200 is a 100% genuine sweeping machine. Uncompromising and totally focused on this specific application. That’s what counts.
World champion in equipment changing
The new coupling system is so easy to use that one add-on tool can simply be removed and another one attached by hand in less than a minute. The hoses and connections are concealed and, as such, protected. The hydraulic, water and vacuum hoses connect up automatically. Everything goes like clockwork. So much so that it is almost impossible to make a mistake.
Strength, performance and even more potential
Its four-wheel drive and outstanding weight distribution spread between the equipment carrier and add-on tools are guarantees for unbeatable stability. The 34 hp engine generates ultra-strong tractive power. Even under load, the Egholm 2200 is relatively fast – up to 21 km/h – and still has plenty of power to spare. As such, it can be equipped with an air-conditioning system as an optional extra, therefore underlining the fact that it is a high-quality machine offering comfortable working conditions. But not only that, the Egholm 2200 seems to do the driving too. For the journey to and from the place of deployment, the throttle lever does not have to be reset, instead all the user need do is press the accelerator pedal to accelerate the equipment carrier.
In winter service action
Equipped with its winter service tools, the Egholm 2200 is an expert in snow clearance and ice protection on roads and pathways – from the first frost through to deep snow.
Modern and safe design
The Egholm 2200 has been given a highly modern design. The machine itself employs environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies that also meet the strictest ecological requirements. Its streamlined, stylish look combined with all the necessary traffic safety features make it an attractive sight on the road, instantly likeable to all passers-by. All its hoses and cables are well concealed while any parts required for operating purposes are easily accessible. From a user’s point of view, the design is incredibly practical and good.
With an ergonomic focus
The driver’s cab is extremely spacious. In terms of visibility and overview, it leaves nothing to be desired. Both the steering wheel and seat can be adjusted to suit the driver’s individual needs. Armrests and a highly comfortable, sprung seat are standard features. All the operating elements, joystick and start buttons are located conveniently for the driver. Other standard features include a storage compartment for personal items and a drink holder enabling the driver to enjoy a cup of coffee in the warmth of his or her cab. The Egholm 2200 is an extremely well-designed place of work from all points of view.

Add-on equipment for all seasons
The optional range of add-on equipment enables the machine to be used all year round. It comprises a sweeper and vacuum cleaner unit with 2, 3 or even 4 brushes, a mulch / rear ejection mowing unit, a flail-type mower / scarifier, an edge-cutter, tilting shovel unit, front sweeper and snow clearance plate as well as a salt and gravel spreader – and even more features are in the pipeline. A mower with a grass collection unit and a snow cutter are due to be released during the course of this year, in the spring and autumn respectively. The Egholm 2200 is a worthwhile investment that can already do almost everything and will in future be able to do even more.
