Circular baling press
The Rapid Mountainpress enables hay, straw, silage or foliage to be formed into 22 kg bales in approx. 40 seconds. Its ideal weight distribution guarantees perfect grip, even on steep gradients.
It operates along the lines of the large circular baling presses commonly used in farming. The material to be pressed is collected with a pick-up, rolled up via rollers located on the outer wall and then pressed together as required. Once the set compression level has been reached, the net wrapping process is triggered manually and repeated two or three times to suit the given needs. The rear flap then opens and the bale can be removed.
The circular baling press has front-wheel steering which is operated via a control rod on the main machine. To support the steering of actively steered machines, such as the Rapid EURO 4, a controller is also available which adjusts the wheel speed on the left or right-hand side to suit the steering lock of the press.
