RAPID TECNO – the unsurpassed

The Tecno traction drive and gear box fully hydraulic. All its functions are operated via electronically controlled magnetic valves. One outstanding feature is its automatic, hydraulic gradient compensator. This enables the equipment to adapt to the respective terrain gradient using sensors which keep the running motor in a horizontal position. This means the engine’s lubrication and petrol supply are guaranteed, even on extremely steep slopes, thus enhancing its service life significantly.

The compensator shifts the load towards the mountain-side wheels so that it is distributed evenly between the right and left wheels, regardless of the gradient concerned. This increases stability and traction making the machine easier to steer. For the operator, this also means active support of his or her health as the strain on the person’s legs and back is reduced enormously. As soon as the Tecno is set in motion, the add-on equipment starts up also. When it stops, the electronic multi-disc brake is activated and the machine comes to an absolutely safe standstill. The single wheel steering, driven by a potentiometer, is controlled by convenient, easy to use hand levers.

The Tecno can therefore be used in places where large areas and steep slopes have to be farmed. In addition to the engine’s gradient compensator, it is also equipped with an hydraulic, adjustable axle. This assures optimum counterbalancing, even when working with heavy add-on equipment, as the weight shift from the front to the rear guarantees the optimum positioning of the mowing mechanism to the ground.
